Hina is a partner at M12 - Microsoft’s Venture Fund, based in San Francisco, where she focuses on investments in AI, Infrastructure & Gaming. With over 13 years of experience in software engineering, she has a deep understanding of the industry and is an expert in AI, Infrastructure, DevTools & Cloud. Hina previously led AI Investments at Samsung Next and invested in over 10 companies, including MosaicML (acquired by Databricks), Stability AI, DynamoFL & Space & Time among others. Prior to SamsungNext, she led a team at Apple for around 8 years with a focus on multiple projects varying from Security, iCloud, Artificial Intelligence, Developer Tools & Data Integrity. Hina holds multiple patents through her work at Apple.
As a software engineering leader, Hina has managed a team of seasoned developers and was DRI for some of the key projects at Apple. Her experience in leading various cross-organization projects in big tech companies has made her a valuable asset in the venture capital industry.
Hina is a thought leader in the AI industry and has spoken at various leading AI conferences, including the World Summit AI, Global Artificial Intelligence Virtual Conference, AI4 and others. She has also been a guest on podcasts such as "AI and the Future of Work", “Me, Myself & AI”, and others.
